Welcome to our Empire!
Metrosexuals. We are the
new breed of masculinity. Gone are the days when men looked stiff and stern. Modern men today have finally attached to their
feminine side because in the teaching of the Order of Diplomacy, "There is no such thing as a real man." This means
that let us face the fact that we all humans were made, formed and developed inside our mother's wombs and with that we have
feminine genes in us not just physically, but intellectually, emotionally, morally, spiritually and socially. It is stupidity
that boys do not cry and must always remain strong and have not sense of beauty. We need to be educated by this real meaning
of masculinity per se.

We are into salon these days. It does not mean that
trimming our nails and eyebrows have a regular haircut, going to spa and derma monthly, using lip gloss, sun blocks, face
powder, we are not real men. Doing these mean being real men because it is accepting the reality of life that we have our
feminine sides. We do not care what will people say against us because we do not mean to hurt anyone, but we keep regularly
ourselves best looking all the time. We do not support that only women should have the rights to keep beautiful inside out.
After all the bottom line is we are all humans and the basic capital of ours is our individual personality.
We can make dramatic differences according to our times,
talents and treasures to make the whole world brighter, more beautiful and more peaceful for the entire humanity. Finally,
be Diplomat Metrosexuals of the Order of Diplomacy.
Here
is an brief origin of metrosexuality.
Tossed around like a green salad,
metrosexual has become the phrase of the moment, replacing the overused Snoop-inspired "izzles" and the Arnold-inspired "governator"
phenomenon. To get to the heart of what it means to be a metrosexual, we went straight to the slang-o-rific Urban Dictionary for some edification.
There we found over 70 user-provided
definitions. While some were completely worthless and even vulgar, the collection gave us a sense for
the meaning of the word. Culling what we learned, we assume a metrosexual is a straight guy fastidious in appearance, in touch
with his feminine side, and living in an urban area.
We learned that writer Mark Simpson
introduced the word into our everyday vocabulary. In a Salon.com article on David Beckham from 2002 titled "Meet the Metrosexual," Simpson provides the true meaning of his coinage:
"The
typical metrosexual is a young man with money to spend, living in or within easy reach of a metropolis -- because that's where
all the best shops, clubs, gyms and hairdressers are. ... he has clearly taken himself as his own love object and pleasure
as his sexual preference."
Boiled down to its essence,
the term refers to a single man who loves to indulge and pamper himself -- going against the stereotype of men as boorish
slobs with questionable grooming habits.
At Mark Simpson's personal site, we clicked a WordSpy link. It traced the word's origin to an article by Simpson from 1994. WordSpy's handy definition
varies only slightly from Simpson's original:
"An
urban male with a strong aesthetic sense who spends a great deal of time and money on his appearance and lifestyle."
